Through your generous support, the Nyika-Vwaza Trust in Malawi works with the
Department of National Parks and Wildlife to improve the conservation of wildlife
in the Nyika National Park and the Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve.
The Nyika-Vwaza (UK) Trust will provide the funding for year on year operational
costs and specific projects through the generosity of its supporters.

Jane Gallacher
Jane first visited the Nyika National Park and Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve in 2003, when she joined the first tourist group to trek to the Source of Luangwa river from the Malawian side, via the Mafinga Mountains, which are north of the Nyika National Park. A frequent visitor to Africa, Jane was especially captivated by the unique wilderness of the Nyika and has returned many time since 2003. She became a trustee of the Nyika-Vwaza (UK) Trust in 2004. A trained solicitor, Jane advises the UK Trust legal issues, where appropriate, and she also edits the Trusts' bi-annual newsletter, Nyika-Vawza News.
