Support The Nyika Vwaza Trust Support Us


Through your generous support, the Nyika-Vwaza Trust in Malawi works with the Department of National Parks and Wildlife to improve the conservation of wildlife in the Nyika National Park and the Vwaza Marsh Wildlife Reserve.

The Nyika-Vwaza (UK) Trust will provide the funding for year on year operational costs and specific projects through the generosity of its supporters.

Tom Lupton Paul first visited the Nyika in May 2005 on a riding safari with his wife, Isobel, and was bowled over by its natural beauty and uniqueness. Having got to know the Trust’s founder, David Foot he became very interested in the work that it was undertaking in both Nyika and Vwaza and became a Trustee in 2008. Paul is a chartered accountant and has worked in the insurance industry for most of his career in locations stretching from Edinburgh to London. Home is a farmhouse in Shropshire where he retreats to at the weekend to relax with his horses and his chickens and, of course, Isobel.
